Alberto Schellino was born in 1965 in Genoa.
He acquired his Secondary School Diploma in Surveying in 1984 at the Technical Institute Buonarroti in Genoa. Subsequently, he steadily collaborated for three years with the technical offices of Cantieri dello Scrivia (Scrivia’s Building Sites) in Genoa as a designer and computing technician. During this period, he had his first experience working in a building site of a nuclear power plant (PEC) at Ansaldo Nira.
In 1987, he was employed by SCI S.p.a. in Genoa, where he worked until 2000, gaining expertise in budgeting, project planning and participation in national public and private calls for tenders.
From 2001 to 2003, he worked for Borchi Costruzioni S.r.l. in Genoa, where he acquired responsibility and coordination positions within the management of public and private commissions.
In 2003, he started working for C.E.I. (Costruzioni Edili Industriali di Genova), specifically within the building site in Sestri Levante (Genova) for the construction of 191 apartments and 350 underground garages, where he is given managing and supervising tasks, such as project planning and costs and quality supervision (ISo9001). In 2005, at the end of the commission, he joined the technical office and the purchase department of the same company.
In 2008, he was transferred to Costruzioni S.p.a., a member of the same group as C.E.I., as responsible for the purchase department and coordinator of the technical office’s activities, in addition to the management supervision of Costruzioni S.p.a.’s operational commissions.
Schellino’s diverse positions and work locations have given him, throughout his thirty-year career, a profound knowledge of every potential construction sector.
